Narnia - our beautiful snowy owl.

You will recall that one of my last blogs in 2011 showed Narnia, the small, grey, fluffy baby snowy owl, who was running around in the house. Well Narnia has turned into a beautiful, beautiful snowy owl, who is absolutely besotted with Ross. These pictures say it all!

ABOUT US

Our family, the Braunds, have lived in the village of Bucks Mills and Bucks Cross for hundreds of years and our dream came true when we purchased Walland Farm, in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. We love it so much that we decided to share it with you.

We have a small woodland walk and are less than a mile away from the woods, the North Devon coastal footpath, the beautiful beach (with golden sand and exciting rockpools), and the glorious rustic village of Bucks Mills, where we have lived for as long as anyone can remember.

Squirrels, jays, woodpeckers and barn owls can be seen daily at Walland Farm, and if you are lucky you might even see one of our shy and elusive red deer, or the elusive black cat which is said to haunt the local woodlands.

When a family has three boys who are mad on animals, and a crazy uncle who runs the CFZ, and a good friend who runs Hartland Wildlife Rescue, there is always lots to write about.
